This guide will help you effectively integrate and interact with Mozrest's platform.

A single integration with our API provides access to all partners, like the MICHELIN Guide, Tripadvisor, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Quandoo, and many more.

Integration Steps

Each step below outlines the necessary components for a successful integration. Follow the steps in order for optimal results and support autonomy.

Step 1: Understanding API Basics

Start by familiarizing yourself with the core principles, authentication requirements, and structure of the Mozrest API. This foundational knowledge is essential for seamless integration.

Step 2: Partner API

The Partner API is required for managing your inventory and connecting your venues with various booking channels on Mozrest. Start by setting up your venues, availability, and more using Mozrest’s core endpoints.

Step 3: Booking Services API

If Mozrest will integrate directly with your existing API, this step is optional. Otherwise, follow this guide to expose an API that meets Mozrest’s specifications.

Step 4: Webhooks

Use webhooks to send real-time updates on bookings and availability. This ensures Mozrest is updated with the latest booking status changes, which is essential for accurate billing.

Step 5: Meta Integration Guide

If you plan to offer Meta (Facebook and Instagram) channels, use this guide to enable seamless onboarding for your venues, including Reserve button activation.

Step 6: Availability Feed

This feed is required only if your venues are using Reserve with Google. Submit a daily feed to ensure Mozrest has up-to-date availability data to share with Google.

Accreditation Process

To prepare for a seamless integration, the partner needs to complete the following steps:

  • API Setup: Once your Booking Services API is ready, share your API URL and authentication token with Mozrest. This allows us to set up and test the integration effectively.
  • Testing Environment: Mozrest will provide you with a test booking widget, enabling your team to verify the integration with realistic booking scenarios. This stage ensures full functionality and end-to-end flow, minimizing any potential issues post-launch.
  • Webhook Implementation: Implement the required webhooks to keep Mozrest updated in real-time. Accurate, timely updates are crucial for a smooth accreditation.

Once all requirements are verified, an accreditation session will be scheduled with Mozrest’s team. During this session, we’ll finalize the integration, confirm that all elements meet Mozrest’s standards, and prepare for the next phase.

Go Live

After accreditation, it’s time to transition to the live environment:

  • Live Token: Mozrest will provide you with a unique Live Token, enabling secure and authenticated live operations.
  • Final Setup: You’ll need to provide Mozrest with the Live API URL and Token. This will be the final step in activating your integration for live use.

Once the Go Live setup is complete, your integration will be fully operational, allowing real-time bookings and access to Mozrest’s platform capabilities for all connected venues.
